Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Western-trained Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide immediate and comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for pediatric emergency cases.
  • Perform advanced pediatric life-saving procedures and interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior medical staff, nurses, and other emergency department personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement department protocols and guidelines to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in pediatric emergency medicine and incorporate new practices and technologies.
  • Educate and support patients' families, providing clear information and guidance on treatment plans and post-care procedures.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, training activities, and quality improvement initiatives.

WORKING CONDITION

  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and night shifts).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Graduation from a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Certification by the American Board, Canadian Board, or CCT or CCST from the UK in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  3. Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range of SAR 60,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
  • Housing or housing allowance provided.
  • Transportation or transportation allowance provided.
  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
  • Annual air tickets for employee and authorized dependents.
  • Health care insurance for employee and authorized dependents.
  • 30 days of annual vacation leave.
