RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric respiratory and pulmonary disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung diseases, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and imaging studies (e.g., chest X-rays, CT scans).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological therapies, respiratory therapies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Manage long-term care for chronic respiratory conditions, ensuring continuous monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, allergists, and ENT specialists, to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric pulmonology, incorporating new research findings and treatment options into clinical practice.

- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology
