Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric respiratory and pulmonary disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung diseases, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and imaging studies (e.g., chest X-rays, CT scans).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological therapies, respiratory therapies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Manage long-term care for chronic respiratory conditions, ensuring continuous monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, allergists, and ENT specialists, to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric pulmonology, incorporating new research findings and treatment options into clinical practice.
- Engage in clinical research to advance the understanding and treatment of pediatric respiratory conditions, contributing to academic publications and presentations.
- Provide education and training for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric pulmonology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance pulmonary services and patient care.
- Act as a liaison with external organizations, such as research institutions and support groups, to ensure comprehensive care for patients and their families.
- Provide leadership in community health initiatives related to pediatric pulmonary disorders, including awareness campaigns and educational programs for families and caregivers.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
