Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement, to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.
- Evaluate patients with complex coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and structural heart abnormalities to determine the most appropriate treatment strategies.
- Interpret imaging studies, such as angiograms and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), to assess the extent and severity of coronary artery disease and guide treatment decisions.
- Provide pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure care for patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures, including risk assessment, informed consent, and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, and cardiovascular nurses, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in cardiac catheterization laboratory (cath lab) quality assurance activities, including peer review and procedural outcome monitoring, to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Stay updated with advancements in interventional cardiology techniques, technologies, and devices through continuous medical education and professional development.
- Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to prevent cardiovascular events and improve overall heart health.
- Participate in clinical research studies and registries to contribute to the advancement of interventional cardiology knowledge and practice.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient interactions, procedures, treatments, and follow-up plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
WORKING CONDITION
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Internal Medicine, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Certification by the American Board, Canadian Board, or CCT or CCST from the UK in Interventional Cardiology
- Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
