Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical and medical procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and the specific requirements of the procedure.
- Provide pain management services, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform advanced pain management procedures, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other interventional techniques.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best anesthesia and pain management strategies for patients.
- Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs and physiological responses during procedures, making necessary adjustments to anesthesia levels.
- Ensure the proper functioning and safety of anesthesia equipment and medications.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and pain management options, risks, and post-procedure care.
- Participate in pain management clinics and multidisciplinary pain management programs to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesiology and pain management through continuous medical education and professional development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting anesthesia care and pain management interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Anesthesiology, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 50000 – 70,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
