Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Neurologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neurogenetic disorders, and developmental delays.
- Conduct detailed neurological assessments, including physical examinations, patient history reviews, and the use of advanced diagnostic tools such as EEG, MRI, and CT scans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medical, surgical, and therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers regarding pediatric neurological cases and coordinate care with other specialists, such as pediatricians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation therapists.
- Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs) and nerve conduction studies, to assess neurological function.
- Manage the long-term care of children with chronic neurological conditions, providing support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric neurology, incorporating new research and treatment modalities into clinical practice.
- Engage in clinical research to contribute to the understanding and treatment of pediatric neurological disorders.
- Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric neurology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance pediatric neurological care services.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital and external organizations, such as schools and rehabilitation centers, to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients.
- Provide leadership in community health initiatives focused on neurological conditions in children, including public awareness campaigns and support groups.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 50,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
