Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Western-trained Consultant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join their esteemed team.

  • Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including diagnosis, treatment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Perform advanced medical procedures, such as intubation, central line placement, and mechanical ventilation management.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, diagnostic results, and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Monitor and adjust life-support equipment and medications to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Conduct daily rounds, assess patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing updates on condition, treatment options, and prognosis.
  • Participate in ICU-related research, quality improvement projects, and continuing education to stay current with advancements in critical care medicine.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring all patient information is documented in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, to foster a culture of excellence in critical care.


  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and night).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.


  1. Graduation from a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Certification by the American Board, Canadian Board, or CCT or CCST from the UK in Critical Care Medicine
  3. Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.


  • Competitive salary range of SAR 60000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
  • Housing or housing allowance provided.
  • Transportation or transportation allowance provided.
  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
  • Annual air tickets for employee and authorized dependents.
  • Health care insurance for employee and authorized dependents.
  • 30 days of annual vacation leave.
