Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Urologist with any subspecialty to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, bladder disorders, and male reproductive health problems.
- Perform urological surgeries such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), and minimally invasive procedures like laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with other specialists such as oncologists, radiologists, and nephrologists.
- Provide expert consultations on complex urological cases, including cancer diagnoses and advanced treatment options.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring optimal recovery and patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies, including ultrasound, cystoscopy, and urodynamic testing, for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, surgical residents, and medical students in urology.
- Engage in clinical research to advance the field of urology, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at medical conferences.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in urological treatments, technologies, and surgical techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols in the urology department.
- Participate in the hospital’s quality improvement initiatives, focusing on patient safety and surgical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, surgeries, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participate in educational programs and workshops for healthcare professionals, contributing to the ongoing training and development of the medical team.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Urology, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
