Our client, a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatrician to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and a commitment to providing excellent medical services to children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to develop accurate diagnoses.
- Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and diagnostic results.
- Medical Procedures: Perform and interpret various pediatric medical procedures and tests to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Emergency Care: Manage emergencies and acute conditions in pediatric patients, providing critical care as required.
- Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborative Care: Work with other healthcare professionals, including specialists and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination for pediatric patients.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay informed about the latest advancements in pediatrics through continuous professional development.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 45,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
