Our client, a leading private hospital in Riyadh, is looking for a dedicated Specialist Pediatric ER to join their esteemed team. This role involves providing emergency care for pediatric patients under the supervision of a Consultant Pediatrician.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in the ER setting.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing acute and critical conditions, including trauma, infections, and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with the Consultant Pediatric ER to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and minor emergency interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pediatricians, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about emergency care processes, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development to stay current with advancements in pediatric emergency medicine.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
