Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is seeking a dedicated Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon to join their esteemed team. This role involves providing orthopedic care and surgical interventions under the supervision of a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide orthopedic care and surgical interventions for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint disorders, and deformities.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing a range of orthopedic conditions, from acute injuries to chronic musculoskeletal issues.
- Collaborate with the Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform and assist in various orthopedic procedures, including surgeries and minimally invasive techniques.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Administer treatments and perform interventions based on established protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development to stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Orthopedic Surgery, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
