Our client, a renowned private hospital in Riyadh, is seeking a skilled Specialist in Ultrasonology to join their distinguished team. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and providing expert patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations for various medical conditions, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular imaging.
- Handle complex cases and procedures, providing detailed imaging results and interpretations.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and calibration.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans based on ultrasound findings.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound procedures, addressing their concerns and providing post-procedure instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting ultrasound procedures, findings, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasonology through continuous medical education and professional development.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Ultrasonology, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
