Our client, a prominent healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join their esteemed team. This role is ideal for a dedicated medical professional with expertise in neonatal care and a passion for providing high-quality critical care to newborns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Neonatal Care: Provide expert care for critically ill neonates, including premature infants and those with severe congenital or acquired conditions.
- Clinical Management: Manage and monitor complex cases, including respiratory distress, infections, and congenital anomalies, ensuring prompt and effective interventions.
- Emergency Response: Respond to neonatal emergencies, perform life-saving procedures, and stabilize patients as necessary.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, nurses, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
- Family Communication: Communicate effectively with families regarding their newborn’s condition, treatment options, and prognosis, providing support and education.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives, adhere to clinical protocols, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in neonatal care and critical care practices.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Neonatology
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
