Our client, a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join their dynamic team. This role involves working under the supervision of senior consultants to provide high-quality emergency care to patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention to patients presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions in the emergency department.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests under the supervision of a consultant.
- Treatment Implementation: Administer treatments, including medication, wound care, and other emergency procedures, as guided by the supervising consultant.
- Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
- Patient Transfer: Coordinate the safe transfer of patients to other departments or facilities when necessary, following protocols and under supervision.
- Patient and Family Communication: Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families, explaining conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing education and training, including attending departmental meetings, case reviews, and professional development courses.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Emergency Medicine, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
