Plastic Surgeon

Our client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Dubai, UAE that is searching for a skilled plastic surgeon to join our surgical team. As a plastic surgeon, your responsibilities will include consulting with patients prior to surgery, advising them on the best surgical options and associated risks, and performing surgeries and patient follow-ups. You should be able to communicate with patients of varying ages, work long hours, and remain professional at all times.

To be successful as a plastic surgeon, you should be skilled in reconstructive surgical techniques and maintain a steady hand under pressure. Outstanding plastic surgeons are active listeners who answer all questions in a non-judgmental manner and are able to ease patients’ anxieties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meeting with patients, taking their histories, and examining their files in order to provide them with the best surgical options.
• Outlining all the risks and benefits associated with the surgery prior to the procedure.
• Performing consultations with patients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, burn wounds, or those who want to enhance their physical appearance.
• Preparing patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Prescribing medication like painkillers, antibiotics, and providing aftercare advice to patients.
• Scheduling follow-ups to remove stitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patients’ healing.
• Handling various administrative duties like updating patient records and clinic policies.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
• Working Days: 6 Days / Week
• Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning or Afternoon
• Contract Period 1 Year Renewable
• Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Husband and 2 Kids
• On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Primary Medical Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD); Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
2. Training/Residency: completion of residency training in Plastic Surgery  
3. Option 1: Well Established Surgeon in Dubai, UAE
   Option 2: Western Trained or European Trained Surgeons (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France)
   Option 3: Arabic Speaker with Valid and Active DHA License / Eligibility Letter

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Languages: English and Arabic
• Age not to exceed 55 years old

SALARY AND BENEFITS

SALARY

• For Expat, Gross Monthly Salary: AED 60,000 – 70,000 Plus Incentive (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
• For Well Established Doctors, it’s negotiable.
