Our client is looking for a qualified ICU Consultant Physician to join their team and offer the best care for their critically ill patients. The successful candidate must be trained in Anesthesia and Critical Care or IM / Pulmonary and Critical Care with a DHA license / Eligibility Letter as a Critical Care Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level clinical care for critically ill patients in an intensive care unit
- Monitor and assess patient’s physical condition, ordering diagnostic tests and treatments as needed
- Develop detailed treatment plans for each patient based on their individual needs
- Supervise all medical staff members in the ICU to ensure adherence to best practices
- Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans
- Track all patient data, including vital signs, laboratory results, medications, etc.
- Participate in research studies related to the ICU unit
- Stay up to date on the latest advancements in healthcare technology
WORKING CONDITION
- Week Hours for Work: 48 Hours / Week
- Over Time Details: NA
- Employment Shifts: A Critical Care Consultant works in a rotational shift
- Employment Nature / Contract: Permanent – 3 Years Renewable
- Workplace: Hospital ICU
- Probation Period 6 Months
- On-Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Medical School: MD, MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Postgraduate Training: Completion of specialty qualification Either in Anesthesiology & Critical Care or IM / Pulmonary & Critical Care or IM / Critical Care Medicine
Clinical Experience: Not Less Than 5 Years of Recent Experience post Speciality Degree
License: DHA Eligibility Letter of License as Consultant ICU is a plus
SALARY AND BENEFITS
SALARY
- Gross Monthly Salary: AED 65,000 – 75,000 (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience, and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive of basic salary, housing, and transportation.
