Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine scans, to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
- Provide accurate and timely radiological reports to referring physicians, detailing findings and recommendations for patient management.
- Perform image-guided procedures, such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures, using various imaging modalities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including referring physicians, surgeons, and oncologists, to ensure optimal patient care and treatment planning.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology, techniques, and protocols through continuous medical education and professional development.
- Ensure the proper functioning and safety of radiology equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and imaging accuracy.
- Provide guidance and supervision to radiology technologists and other support staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality imaging studies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all imaging studies, interpretations, and procedural interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about radiological procedures, risks, and benefits, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Radiology, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
