Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Western-trained Consultant Pulmonologist & Sleep Medicine to join their esteemed team.

  • Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and lung cancer.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ respiratory health, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ diagnoses, medical history, and clinical findings.
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic procedures to assess lung function and diagnose respiratory conditions.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome.
  • Conduct sleep studies and interpret polysomnography results to diagnose and monitor sleep disorders.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications to manage respiratory and sleep-related conditions and improve patients’ quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, and other specialists, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, sleep disorders, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pulmonology and sleep medicine through continuing medical education and professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and educational activities to enhance patient care and advance the field of pulmonology and sleep medicine.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient interactions, diagnostic tests, treatments, and follow-up plans in compliance with regulatory standards.


  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.


  1. Graduation from a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Certification by the American Board, Canadian Board, or CCT or CCST from the UK in  Consultant Pulmonologist & Sleep Medicine
  3. Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.


  • Competitive salary range of SAR 70,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
  • Housing or housing allowance provided.
  • Transportation or transportation allowance provided.
  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
  • Annual air tickets for employee and authorized dependents.
  • Health care insurance for employee and authorized dependents.
  • 30 days of annual vacation leave.
