Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Rheumatologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric rheumatological conditions, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and vasculitis.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including physical examinations, patient history, and diagnostic tests such as blood tests, imaging studies (e.g., X-rays, MRIs), and joint aspirations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including pharmacological therapies, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists, to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Manage long-term care for chronic rheumatological conditions, ensuring ongoing monitoring and adjustment of treatment plans as needed.
- Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures and tests specific to pediatric rheumatology.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric rheumatology, incorporating new research and treatment options into clinical practice.
- Engage in clinical research to advance understanding and treatment of pediatric rheumatic diseases, contributing to academic publications and presentations.
- Provide education and training for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals in pediatric rheumatology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance rheumatology services and patient care.
- Act as a liaison with external organizations, such as research institutions and support groups, to ensure comprehensive care for patients and their families.
- Provide leadership in community health initiatives related to pediatric rheumatological disorders, including awareness campaigns and educational programs for patients and families.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 50,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
