Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Western-trained Consultant Anesthesiologist & Pain Management to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical and medical procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and the specific requirements of the procedure.
  • Provide pain management services, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Perform advanced pain management procedures, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other interventional techniques.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best anesthesia and pain management strategies for patients.
  • Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs and physiological responses during procedures, making necessary adjustments to anesthesia levels.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and safety of anesthesia equipment and medications.
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and pain management options, risks, and post-procedure care.
  • Participate in pain management clinics and multidisciplinary pain management programs to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesiology and pain management through continuous medical education and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting anesthesia care and pain management interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.

WORKING CONDITION

  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and night).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Graduation from a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Certification by the American Board, Canadian Board, or CCT or CCST from the UK in  Anesthesiologist & Pain Management
  3. Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range of SAR 55000 – 65,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
  • Housing or housing allowance provided.
  • Transportation or transportation allowance provided.
  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
  • Annual air tickets for employee and authorized dependents.
  • Health care insurance for employee and authorized dependents.
  • 30 days of annual vacation leave.
